Dash — Life in One Place
A fictional digital platform that brings different aspects of everyday life into one organized dashboard.
Personal project · concept, design & animation
Complex Made Simple
Dash brings together different categories of information, from finances and health to travel and everyday planning.
The visual challenge was to communicate that breadth without making the product feel complicated. The animation uses clean layouts, simplified interface elements, and a restrained visual hierarchy to make the different dashboards feel approachable.
The Dashboards
With so many different features and categories coming together in one platform, the challenge was to communicate the product's versatility without overwhelming the viewer. The goal was to make a potentially complex product feel simple, cohesive, and approachable.
Visual Direction
The entire piece was my brainchild, from concept to completion. The visual direction of how the app should look was particularly challenging.
As you can see in the image below, the visual identity of the app kept changing as I worked on the project. Refining and making it better at every step.
